For 25 years, we - Gisela Williams and Antje Wewer -have been exploring the far corners of the world, searching out the most extraordinary people and places for some of the world’s top publications. Over the years we have both been asked by so many people where and how to travel that we thought it would make sense to join forces and share all our intel in one place: the w-report!

Also: not all the extensive research we do and exclusive treasures we dig up on our travels ends up in the final version of our stories, so we are also excited about the idea of having a place to share all our uncharted, secret finds.

What can you expect?

We want to distill a featured destination down to the best of the best, a handful of magical finds, special contacts and worthwhile new openings that can open perspectives and doors and make one’s trip shine. We want to highlight unique and pioneering cultural trends, as well as share the juiciest of travel news.

Starting next week, we will serve up fresh and original travel content with a spicy side of contemporary culture. There will be another newsletter in August and then in September we will start sending out the w-report every two weeks. We will eventually be offering special services for paying subscribers: we will connect you to creatives from various fields in a number of cities, answer individual travel questions and in some case help you to customize your trip.
