THE W-REPORT SAYS THANK YOU
We started the W-Report not just because we get asked ALL the time for travel advice but because we wanted to send some shiny test balloons into the air. Do other people love to travel the way we do? Are they as curious as we are? Are there others that cherish travel as a way to learn and connect with diverse people, ideas and culture?
Well now we know the answer. It’s YES! Every day we receive dozens of new subscribers. So THANK YOU! We are so grateful and excited to have so many of you on this crazy experimental journey with us.
Now, after publishing almost a dozen newsletters, we have decided to get serious. Well, not serious exactly, but we have decided to make a commitment to keep going. Full steam ahead. To mark this next chapter we commissioned portraits by our friend, the Dutch artist Anje Jaeger.
The Ws spend a lot of time and energy on our research, asking dozens of questions, following leads and taking all the detours to dig up the most special gems. We stand behind every recommendation we make — we have tried and tested everything ourselves.
WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN? We will still be offering some of those gems for free, but others we are wrapping up and keeping them behind a pay wall. To stay on this journey with you all, we need to make it sustainable.
